“Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.”

That verse from Proverbs 27:17 illustrates the ministry of our men’s ministry perfectly. Men who make each other better through powerful relationships based on mutual respect and shared commitments. For some men the fear of personal commitments can be so strong that it has robbed them of friendships and experiences that last a life time.

We believe that men play a unique role in the purpose of God. As men we are called upon to lead families, positively affect communities and prepare a legacy for future generations. It is impossible to carry out this great responsibility without the help of other men who can share their experiences with a brother who desires to succeed in this task. we believe that when men share a mutual respect and honor common commitments they forge a unique bond that goes beyond the church property.

For us, mutual respect begins with a realization that men regardless of their color, income or education are due a common courtesy that goes beyond rank or status. We believe that when strong relationships are built upon common commitments, friendships last a life time. That’s why we ask our men to make and keep 3 commitments they are,
1. A commitment to serve God
2. A commitment to our families
3. A commitment to serve our community

A man who is conscious of the importance of service, has discovered what it truly means to be a man!
